Using BigQuery with Metabase

Read documentation

What is BigQuery?

Google’s BigQuery is a data warehouse originally built on Google’s Dremel tech that uses SQL as its query language. BigQuery uses a columnar storage format called Capacitor, which allows BigQuery to operate directly on compressed data, which it stores in a distributed file system called Colossus. BigQuery is especially useful for analysing nested data, and has machine learning and predictive modeling available with its BigQuery ML.
